Overview

The Microsoft 365 integration connects your Microsoft account to ParsaLink, enabling Outlook Calendar sync, email logging, OneDrive file access, and automatic Teams meeting link generation.

Connecting Microsoft 365

  1. Go to Settings → Integrations → Microsoft 365.
  2. Click Connect with Microsoft.
  3. Sign in to your Microsoft 365 account and select which account to use (personal, work, or school).
  4. Review the requested permissions and click Accept.
  5. Configure sync settings after authorization.
If your organization uses Conditional Access or requires admin approval for third-party app connections, ask your Microsoft 365 administrator to grant consent for ParsaLink in the Azure Active Directory portal.

Outlook Calendar

What Syncs

  • ParsaLink → Outlook: Events created in ParsaLink appear in your Outlook Calendar.
  • Outlook → ParsaLink: Events with CRM contacts as attendees are imported and logged on those contacts’ timelines.
  • Busy time: Outlook busy times block those slots in your booking link availability.

Configuration

If you have multiple calendars in your Outlook account (e.g., a shared team calendar and your personal calendar), select which one to sync in the integration settings. When creating an event in ParsaLink, click Add Teams Meeting to generate a Microsoft Teams link automatically. The link is included in the invite sent to all attendees.

Outlook Mail

What Syncs

  • Sent emails: Emails you send to CRM contacts from Outlook are detected and logged on their activity timelines.
  • Received emails: Replies from CRM contacts in Outlook are imported and logged.
  • Send from ParsaLink: Emails sent through the ParsaLink composer can route through your Outlook account, so they appear in your Sent folder in Outlook.

Modern Authentication

The Microsoft 365 integration uses OAuth 2.0 with Modern Authentication — no passwords are stored in ParsaLink. If your organization has disabled basic authentication (which Microsoft recommends), the OAuth-based integration will work correctly.
If your IT policy restricts third-party OAuth apps from accessing Outlook data, the email sync feature will not work until your administrator grants an exemption or admin consent in Azure AD.

OneDrive

With OneDrive connected, you can access and link files from OneDrive to CRM records:
  • Attach files — Search your OneDrive from any Account, Contact, or Opportunity and link documents.
  • View files — Linked OneDrive files open with a click from the CRM record.
ParsaLink links to files; it does not copy or store file contents.

Office Documents (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

When writing content in ParsaLink (proposals, notes, email templates), you can import from Office documents:
  • Click Import from OneDrive in the rich text editor.
  • Browse your OneDrive for a Word document.
  • The document content is imported as formatted rich text.

Microsoft Teams

Teams meeting links are generated when you:
  • Create an event in ParsaLink and click Add Teams Meeting.
  • Accept a booking via your booking link (if Teams is set as your default conferencing method).
Each Teams link is unique per event. Guest users (external contacts) can join the meeting without a Microsoft account.

Revoking Access

To disconnect:
  1. Go to Settings → Integrations → Microsoft 365.
  2. Click Disconnect.
You can also revoke access from account.microsoft.com/privacy/app-permissions. Disconnecting stops all syncing immediately.
