How Email Works in ParsaLink
Sending Infrastructure — ParsaLink sends emails through your configured sending method (SMTP or Amazon SES). Your own domain and sender name are used, so recipients see emails from you — not from a ParsaLink address. Activity Logging — Every email sent through ParsaLink is automatically logged on the recipient’s contact or lead record. You can see the email subject, send time, open status, and whether any links were clicked. Automation Integration — The Send Email automation action uses the same sending infrastructure. Emails sent by automations are also logged on the activity timeline. Bounce and Opt-Out Handling — Hard bounces are automatically added to the suppression list to protect your sending reputation. Contacts who click an unsubscribe link are also suppressed from future bulk sends.Sending From the CRM
You can send emails from several places:- Contact Detail Page — Click Send Email from the contact’s header actions. Opens the email composer pre-addressed to that contact.
- Lead Detail Page — Same as contacts.
- Bulk Email — Filter a contact or lead list, select multiple records, and use Actions → Send Email to send the same template to everyone in your selection.
- AI Chat — Ask Parsa AI to draft and send an email. Review the draft before it’s delivered.
- Automations — The Send Email action runs as part of a workflow without manual intervention.
Email vs. Integrated Inboxes
ParsaLink’s built-in email feature is for outbound CRM communication — sending follow-ups, proposals, and nurture sequences. It is not a full inbox replacement. For two-way email conversation and auto-logging of inbound replies, connect Gmail or Outlook via the integrations. With an integration connected:- Inbound replies from contacts are logged on their CRM timeline.
- You can reply to contacts from within ParsaLink using your actual Gmail or Outlook account.
- Sent emails from your integrated inbox are synced back to the CRM.
