Creating an Event

Click New Event from the Calendar page, or click directly on a time slot in the week or day view.

Adding Attendees

Internal Attendees

Search for team members by name. They’ll receive an in-app notification and a calendar invite email.

External Attendees (Contacts)

Search for CRM contacts or leads by name or email. When you add a CRM contact as an attendee:
  • They receive a calendar invite email.
  • The event is automatically logged on their activity timeline.
  • You don’t need to manually link the event to their record.

Ad-Hoc External Email

You can also type any email address to invite someone who isn’t in your CRM. They’ll receive the calendar invite but won’t be tracked in the CRM unless you manually create a contact for them. Google Meet — If Google Workspace is connected, click Add Google Meet to generate a Meet link automatically. The link is embedded in the invite. Microsoft Teams — If Microsoft 365 is connected, click Add Teams Meeting to generate a Teams link. Custom Link — Paste any Zoom, Webex, Around, or other URL in the Video Link field. The meeting link appears in:
  • The calendar event body
  • The email invite sent to all attendees
  • The event card in the ParsaLink calendar view

Linking Events to CRM Records

Use the CRM Links section when creating or editing an event to associate it with:
  • Contacts — Track this meeting in the contact’s activity history.
  • Opportunities — Associate the meeting with a specific deal.
  • Accounts — Link to the company involved.
You can link to multiple records of each type. For example, a demo call might be linked to two contacts at the same account and the opportunity they’re associated with.

Editing and Cancelling Events

To edit an event, click it in the calendar and select Edit. Changes are saved and attendees receive an updated invite. To cancel an event:
  1. Open the event.
  2. Click Cancel Event.
  3. Optionally enter a cancellation message that will be sent to attendees.
Cancelled events are removed from all attendees’ calendars and marked as cancelled in ParsaLink. The activity timeline entry remains on linked CRM records.

Event Reminders

Set reminders for yourself when creating an event:
  • Email reminder — Sent at a specified time before the event (e.g., 30 minutes, 1 hour, 1 day).
  • In-app notification — An alert inside ParsaLink.
Use event descriptions to paste your meeting agenda. After the meeting, open the event and click Ask Parsa AI to extract action items from your notes directly into CRM tasks.
